Quirky Foods Inc. needed packaging that not only stood out on shelves but also told the story of their mission: creating delicious veggie kettle chips from repurposed ingredients to reduce food waste. Our goal was to create a visual identity that was fun, vibrant, and packed with personality—just like the brand itself.

How We Nailed It.

Discovery & Strategy

We started with deep research into Quirky Foods’ values, audience, and competitive landscape. The goal was to craft packaging that would immediately communicate their eco-conscious approach while appealing to health-conscious snack lovers.

Illustration & Branding

To highlight the natural and sustainable aspects of the chips, we developed a playful illustrated style featuring quirky, happy vegetables with imperfections—showing that sustainability can be both fun and delicious. The typography balances boldness with a friendly appeal, making the product name pop while maintaining a clean, readable layout.

Packaging Execution

We carefully structured the packaging design to include:

Vibrant Colors & High Contrast – A bright blue background with pops of pink, green, and orange to create a fresh and modern aesthetic.

Hand-Drawn Illustrations – Custom veggie characters that reinforce the brand’s lighthearted yet environmentally responsible tone.

Sustainability Messaging – Key phrases like “Repurposed Ingredients” and “Perfectly Imperfect” were integrated to emphasize the product’s eco-friendly mission.

The final design was prepared for print, ensuring clarity, vibrancy, and scalability across different bag sizes and formats. The result? A standout package that not only attracts attention but also aligns with Quirky Foods Inc.’s commitment to sustainability and flavor.
