TELUS World of Science – Edmonton needed a brand identity for Science for All, an initiative aimed at making STEM more accessible to children and teens from all backgrounds

The challenge was to create a playful yet professional visual identity that reflects curiosity, inclusivity, and the excitement of discovery while remaining versatile across various platforms.

How We Nailed It.

01.

A Logo That Sparks Discovery

We developed a custom logotype with a playful, rounded typeface to make science feel approachable. The “ALL!” portion is emphasized through colour and weight to reinforce the initiative’s message of inclusivity. Small scientific elements like test tubes and atomic symbols were subtly integrated to create a sense of wonder.

A Vibrant, Engaging Colour Palette

The brand colours were selected to inspire curiosity: blue for trust, green for growth, and orange for energy. A gradient effect was incorporated to reflect the diversity of STEM fields and make the brand feel modern and dynamic.

Designed for Maximum Impact

The identity was crafted for flexibility and scalability, ensuring it worked across print, digital, signage, and merchandise. High contrast and accessibility considerations were prioritized, allowing the brand to remain impactful across different environments.
